How to Stay Calm When Everything Is Falling Apart at Your Event
Every event has a moment where something goes wrong.
And in that moment, everything depends on how you respond.
Your First Reaction Matters
When stress hits, your body reacts instantly.
Heart rate increases
Breathing changes
Thinking narrows
This is your nervous system trying to protect you.
The Problem
If you react from that state, you:
Rush decisions
Increase stress
Spread tension
The Solution: Regulate First, Then Respond
Before reacting:
👉 Pause.
Take one breath.
Create space.
A Simple Reset
Inhale through your nose
Exhale slowly through your nose, this activates your parasympathetic system
Intentionally relax your shoulders
Visualize a white light waterfall of calm energy coming from the sky directly above you, flowing through your body filling you with calm, then flowing down into the Earth.
Feel it grounding you and visualize the white light expand throughout your body. Hear the words "Release."
This takes seconds but changes everything.
Why This Works
A regulated nervous system:
Thinks clearly
Communicates effectively
Leads calmly
Naturally effects those around you
You Set the Tone
Your state influences everyone around you.
When you’re calm:
👉 Others follow. It's how our biology is wired.
